5 Korean Beauty Products I love on YesStyle
The online retail store YesStyle’s beauty shop (Discount Code LVNPETITE) carries hundreds of Korean beauty products. From popular brands to new emerging labels, there are so many products to choose from. Where do you start? If you have sensitive skin, and love gentle skincare and makeup products, here are 5 Korean beauty products on YesStyle that you may also love:
1. Laneige Stained Glow Lip Balm
Most lipsticks dry out my lips, and flaky lips aren’t pretty. That’s why I find myself using tinted lip balms more often, and this one from Laneige is a recent favorite. I use it daily, and it keeps my lips moisturized with a good amount of color which is just a little less dramatic than lipstick. I have “no. 3 mandarin coral”, and I want to try the other two colors too.
I’m not makeup savvy, and found these eyeliners very beginner friendly. They are waterproof and really pigmented. When I wear them, I don’t need to worry about “raccoon eyes” (i.e. smudges), and need very little touch up during the day.
This oil based cleanser melts away your makeup effectively. It gently leaves the skin feeling soft and clean without stripping away too much moisture. If you have oily skin and think oil based cleansers sound crazy, you may be wrong! Makeup dissolves in oil-based cleansers much better than in water-based cleansers. Oil-based cleansers can also help unclog your pores and make them less acne-prone. Just remember to keep your Clean It Zero dry when not using it. If you get water in the jar you will be sad.
4. Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum
I first got a small sample of this serum in a travel kit and fell in love with it. So I went back and got a full sized bottle. This serum smells nice and feels gentle on my skin: no stingy feelings like some other serums can be. I use this serum after my rose petal toner.
5. Innisfree Green Tea Sleeping Mask
From the same collection as the Green Tea Seed Serum, this sleeping mask is your last step before heading to bed. I use it liberally all over my face and neck.
I’m looking forward to trying many more Korean beauty products. Two brands I’m particularly interested in trying next are Dear Klairs and The Plant Base. Stay tuned for further updates about them!
