I like summer sporty chic styles with sneakers, however, sometimes sneakers can make me look even shorter. In order to lengthen those legs visually, I choose high-waisted bottoms that hit above the knee. This pair of black shorts with curved hem were picked for me by a ThredUP Goody Boxes stylist. Witch Dungeon Museum: Waiting for a live re-enactment of the Salem witch trial.

Todays photos were taken in Salem, MA. I spent a Saturday there just because. I didn't know about this small city before I went there. It is famous for its 1692 witch trials. During that period of time, people's fear for god and the devil led to suffering and the deaths of innocent lives.

I went to a couple museums in Salem to learn about the local history. It was interesting and educational. I enjoy taking short trips like this on the weekends. See something different, learn something new, and then get back to the daily routine feeling refreshed.
